Terms of Service

The service and who provides it

Simple Socials is operated by GAU Web Solutions LLC ("we", "us"). Our postal address is nick@gauwebsolutions.com. Contact: nick@gauwebsolutions.com.

Simple Socials (simplesocials.dev) is an API for publishing posts to Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts. By using the API, or by connecting a Facebook or Instagram account through a Connect Link, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Workspaces and API Keys

• Access is granted per Workspace. Keep your API Keys secret; you are responsible for all activity made with them. Revoke a key immediately if it may have leaked.
• Only connect accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and only publish content their owners have approved.
• We apply rate limits and usage limits (for example the number of connected accounts and file sizes) to keep the service fair and affordable, and may change them.

Facebook and Instagram

• Publishing goes through Meta's platform. You must also follow Meta's Terms, Platform Terms, Community Standards and the Instagram Terms of Use.
• When you connect an account, you authorise us to use the permissions you grant solely to list your Pages and accounts and publish the content the Workspace submits. You can withdraw this at any time by removing the app in your Facebook or Instagram settings or by asking the Workspace to disconnect the account.
• We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta. Meta may reject, delay or remove content, or limit access to its APIs, and we cannot guarantee that any post is published.

Your content

• You keep all rights to the content you publish. You grant us only the rights needed to store, process and deliver it to Facebook and Instagram.
• You must not use the service for spam, illegal content, content that infringes others' rights, malware, or to evade platform rules.
• Media is hosted only so Meta can fetch it and is deleted 7 days after every post that uses it has finished publishing. Keep your own copies; Simple Socials is not a backup or storage service.

Data and deletion

How we handle Facebook and Instagram data, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted is described in the Privacy Policy. To delete your data, follow the data deletion instructions or email nick@gauwebsolutions.com.

Suspension and termination

We may disable a Workspace or API Key, without notice where necessary, to stop abuse, protect the service or comply with Meta's policies or the law. You may stop using the service at any time.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GAU Web Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or posts that fail, are delayed or are removed, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the previous 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms and will post changes on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
