One API Key, one REST call per post. Here's what Simple Socials handles for you.
Connect LinksAccount owners connect in two clicks, with no signup.
Create a Connect Link over the API and send it to whoever owns the Page or Instagram account. They sign in
with Facebook or Instagram, pick the accounts, and land back on your redirect_url. There's no
Simple Socials login for them, and you never see their password or tokens. Links are single-use and expire
after an hour.
Facebook Pages & InstagramOne Post fans out to every account you target.
Facebook Pages: text and link posts, single photos, multi-photo posts (up to 10), videos,
and Reels (chosen automatically for portrait clips, or forced with video_type).
Instagram Business and Creator accounts: single images, Reels, and carousels of 2–20 images
and videos. Per-platform overrides let you change the caption or drop the link for one platform.
Content is validated against each platform's rules up front, so you get a clear error before anything is queued.
Scheduling & idempotencySet publish_at and retry without double-posting.
Send publish_at with any timezone offset and targets stay scheduled until then;
cancel any time before they go out. An Idempotency-Key header makes retries safe: the same key and
body return the original Post instead of creating another. Transient platform errors are retried with backoff,
and each target publishes and fails on its own.
Media hostingUpload once; we host it where Meta can fetch it.
Upload big files straight to storage with a presigned URL (Cloudflare R2, so nothing streams through our server), or hand us a public URL and we copy it. We check the type, dimensions and duration for you, then delete the file automatically 7 days after the posts using it finish.
Signed webhooksKnow the moment a post goes live or fails.
Register an endpoint and receive post.published, post.failed and
account.disconnected events, signed with HMAC-SHA256 and a timestamp. Failed deliveries retry with
backoff for 24 hours, and every attempt is listed in the API so you can debug from your side.
Token health & reconnectionTokens refresh themselves; broken ones are flagged.
Long-lived tokens are refreshed automatically before they expire. If a platform rejects one, the account is
marked needs_reauth, its pending posts fail with a clear code, and you get an
account.disconnected webhook. Send the owner a Reconnect Link and it's repaired in place, same
ID, nothing to remap.
Workspaces, API Keys & limitsKeep each client or project cleanly separated.
Each Workspace has its own API Keys, connected accounts, media, posts and webhooks, and nothing crosses
between them. Keys are stored only as hashes. Each Workspace gets its own
fair-use limits (60 requests per minute, 10 connected
accounts, 250 MB per file), with clear 429 and limit errors when you reach them.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Why is it free?
Because connecting to social platforms shouldn't be a line item. Simple Socials runs on deliberately lean infrastructure (one server, SQLite, and Cloudflare R2 with free egress for media), so each extra Workspace costs us very little. We'd rather keep it free and keep it simple.
Is there a catch?
A few honest ones: access is invite-only while we're in beta, the fair-use limits below apply, and Meta's own rules still apply to every post (including their publishing limits). There's no credit card to enter and no trial that runs out.
Which platforms do you support, and what's coming next?
Facebook Pages and Instagram Business or Creator accounts today (personal Instagram accounts can't publish through Meta's API). More platforms are planned; tell us which ones you need in your application and it will shape what we build next.
What are the limits?
Each Workspace gets 60 requests per minute, 10 connected accounts and 250 MB per file by default; we can raise them if you need more. The platforms add their own caps, such as Instagram's 50 API posts per account per 24 hours and Facebook's 30 Reels per Page per 24 hours; we check those for you and return a clear error instead of a failed post.
How do I get access?
Fill in the application. We review every application manually and email you a Workspace ID and API Key if you're approved. While our Meta app is in review, we'll also add you as a tester on it so your accounts can connect, which we'll arrange by email.
What happens to my data?
Access tokens are encrypted at rest and never shown to anyone, including you. Media is deleted 7 days after publishing. Account owners can disconnect or request deletion at any time, through Facebook, Instagram or by email. The details are in our privacy policy.
Is it an official Meta product?
No. Simple Socials is an independent service operated by GAU Web Solutions and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Meta. It uses Meta's official APIs: the Facebook Graph API and the Instagram API with Instagram Login.
